Clinical Photo Competition

  • Theme : “Beyond a Picture, this is the Beauty of the Eye”
  • Purpose :
    • As an open platform for participants to showcase their skills and creativity in ocular imaging.
    • To show interesting cases in daily practice.
  • Categories :
    • Anterior Segment photography (Cornea, Sclera, Conjunctiva, Anterior chamber, angles, iris, lens)
    • Posterior Segment photography (Vitreous, Retina, Choroid)
    • Orbit - Adnexa photography (Lids, Adnexal, Orbit, Face)
  • Participants :
    • Ophthalmologist, Ophthalmology Resident, General Practitioner, Allied Health Professional.
    • Photo competition participants must be registered in the PIT Perdami 50.
  • Timeline :
    • Open for submission : May 5th 2025
    • Deadline : July 20th 2025
  • Submission :
    • All photos must be submitted via the official PIT PERDAMI Website
    • The deadline for submission is 20 July 2025
    • Late entries will not be considered.
    • Each participant can submit more than 1 photo.
  • Photo Submission Guidelines :
    • Format : JPEG, TIFF
    • Resolution : min 300 dpi
    • Quality : HD
    • File Size : maximum 25 MB
    • Logo : University / Hospital Logos are optional
    • Photo Title & Description
    • Photo File Name Format : "Clinical_Category_Photo Title_MASAGI2025"
  • Photo content terms :
    • The submitted photo must be the original work of the participant.
    • The submitted photo can be either a clinical photo or a diagnostic photo.
    • The work has never been submitted to any event before.
  • Ethical and Legal Compliance:
    • Submissions must adhere to ethical guidelines for medical content, including but not limited to patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
    • Participants must ensure compliance with local, national, and international medical laws and guidelines.
    • Any patient identifiable information must be anonymized.
    • Financial disclosure should be explained.
    • Copyright of the work remains the property of the participants
    • Broadcasting rights belong to PIT Perdami 2025
  • Disqualification :
    • Any violation of the rules may result in disqualification.
    • Plagiarized or non-original content will not be accepted.
    • Entries that fail to meet ethical and professional standards will be rejected.

Inspirational Photo Competition

  • Theme :
    • Silent Moments, Profound Dedication Behind Every Vision
    • A Glimpse of Dedication: When Moments Tell a Story
  • Purpose :
    • To display the scope of eye health services (social service activities, patient examination activities, visual rehabilitation, eye service activities).
    • Encouraging more parties, including organizations and individuals, to get involved in eye health programs, such as screening, education, and free surgeries.
    • Inviting doctors, nurses, and other medical personnel to share their experiences in providing quality eye health services.
    • Capturing precious moments that reflect the hopes, struggles of patients, and the positive impact of eye health services.
  • Participants :
    • Ophthalmologist, Ophthalmology Resident, General Practitioner, Allied Health Professional
    • Photo competition participants must be registered in the PIT Perdami 50
