Surgical Video Competition
- Theme: Sharing Skills, Advancing Ophthalmic Surgery
- Purpose:
- Demonstrate innovative surgical techniques, best practices, and procedural insights to improve ophthalmic surgery skills
- Create an open space for medical professionals to learn from one another and refine their surgical approaches.
- Provides a platform for ophthalmologists, and residents to share their knowledge and experiences with a wider audience.
- Categories:
- Anterior Segment Surgery
- Posterior Segment Surgery
- Orbita-Adnexa Surgery
- Participants:
- Participants are Opthalmologist and Opthalmology resident.
- Participants can be personal / group (there will be options / descriptions when submitting)
- Group Participants must submit the names of the team members.
- Registered participants cannot be replaced for any reason.
- Each participant is allowed to submit more than 1 work.
- Video competition participants must be registered in the PIT Perdami 50
- Timeline :
- Open submission: May 5th 2025
- Deadline: July 20th 2025
- Submission :
- All videos must be submitted via the official PIT PERDAMI Website
- The deadline for submission is July 20th 2025, at 23:59 PM (GMT +7)
- Late entries will not be considered.
- Each participant can submit more than 1 entry
- Video Submission Guidelines:
- Format : MP4
- Resolution :1920 x 1080 px (Aspect Ratio 16:9)
- Quality : HD
- Duration : 5 minute
- File Size: maximum 500 MB
- Video file name format : "Surgical_Video Title_MASAGI2025"
- Video content terms :
- The submitted video must be the original work of the participant
- The work has never been submitted to any event before.
- The music/songs/materials used do not violate copyright.
- Videos must be related to ophthalmic surgery, including techniques, innovations, or case studies.
- Ethical and Legal Compliance:
- Submissions must adhere to ethical guidelines for medical content,
- including but not limited to patient confidentiality and professional
- conduct.
- Participants must ensure compliance with local, national, and
- international medical laws and guidelines.
- Any patient identifiable information must be anonymized.
- Financial disclosure should be explained
- Copyright of the work remains the property of the participants
- Broadcasting rights belongs to PIT Perdami 2025
- Disqualification :
- Any violation of the rules may result in disqualification.
- Plagiarized or non-original content will not be accepted.
- Entries that fail to meet ethical and professional standards will be rejected.

Short Movie Video Competition

- A Spark of Light, a Million Changes
- Eyes, Access, and Hope
- Chasing Dreams, Shaping the Future
- From the Eyes to the Heart : A Journey of Devotion
- Purpose :
- Provide a space for opthalmologist and residents to showcase their ideas, experiences, and innovations in ophthalmology through visual media.
- Raise public awareness about eye health with an informative, inspiring, and evidence-based movie.
- Participants :
- Branch of Perdami (not mandatory).
- Each team must submit the names of the team members and their roles in the process of video making.
- Registered participants cannot be replaced for any reason.
- Each participant is allowed to submit only 1 work.
- Short movie video competition participants must be registered in the PIT Perdami 50
- Timeline :
- Open for registration : May 5th 2025
- Deadline : July 20th 2025
- Submission :

- The video must not contain elements that violate Indonesian laws, such as ethics, morality, violence, pornography, or SARA (ethnicity, religion, race, and intergroup relations).
